The elegant lettering on this round board was painted by Maud Bekaert using a flat brush and then laser-engraved into the wood. The text 'Hier komen wij tot bloei' (Here we flourish) is by the writer and poet Peter Verhelst and is an ode to a place or person where you can be yourself and fully become who you are.
