Letter art 'Waar is de tijd'

'Waar is de tijd' (Where has the time gone) is a text by the  poet and author Peter Verhelst, hand-designed by Maud Bekaert and carefully laser-cut from steel. Thanks to its pleated base, the piece stands stably on any flat surface and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The open letters create a unique interplay of light and background: outdoors, the view changes with the seasons; indoors, you can place candles on the base so that the light shines through the letters.
